Maggie, Thank you for your comments, and yes this is my youngest. He is by far the hardest to hold still, but with the bribe of going out for ice cream he did great.

I agree with you on the lighting it should have more fill on my right. I will need to have Linda take the shot next time. The other thing I would love to change is to remove my hand. It is so natural to put my arm around him, I never thought about. Well...live and learn...thanks again.

Hi Daniel...I love the expression on your sons?? face. It is very hard to do a self portrait when you only have a few seconds to get into position...I have tried this often *smile* I finally got a long cable release so I can get in position then make the exposure.

This image turned out very well. My only nitpic is I would have like to eliminate some of the shadow on the right side of your face. Maybe if you had had more time to pose you could have moved your head a little forward so your sons head wasnt blocking the light. All in all it worked very well...good job...*smile*...Maggie
