About This little stream (Verzasca river) can change its character dramatically after heavy rainfall.

... and the firm rock (granite) shows us how strong the water can be. The structure is really fascinating

Enjoy it.

Regards, Gerry

Hi Davi,

thank you so much for your feedback. Yes I used a number of filters. First of all I always use a UV/warm filter (combined one) and for this scene I attached additional a Pol-Filter and a ND (0.9) filter. The Pol-Filter helps to eliminate the reflexions and to intensify the structure of the rock.

I know, the ND filter aren't cheap but they are the money worth. By the way, I own a 0.6 and 0.9 one (ordered by B&H, NY)

Kind regards, Gerry

I love the light in this one especially. Was it really only one second exposure time. The water looks so soft, I would have guess much longer exposure time. But then I have little experiences with long exposure.

Do you use ND filters if the light is too much? I have been think about getting NDs for those kind of shots, but I'm unsure what density to get.

woww perfect
i like the colors with the white stream, i think the shutter was more than 1sec., or maybe the stream was fast enough, but the settings was perfect for sure 7+++++

Hi Neil,
