About Not sure of the denomination, nor of the meaning of the X on the steeple, but there we have it. Cropped and contrasted in PS.

Nice frame and texture. This image would read entirely different in black and white. Why don't you try it. Nice work.

Ameed,
I initially got two lenses:
- 17-85 Image Stabilized zoom (my primary lens)
- 75-300 zoom
- 50mm 1.8 (purchased later just to get something faster)

Honestly, the 17-85, with an effective zoom of 28 to 135mm gives me what I need for 90% of my shots. It's an awesome lens!

Nice capture Paul and sensitive eyes for details :)
Very well seen and captured,
Congratulation for the 20D and the prizes, it is indeed a beast,
Btw, what lenses did you get for it?
Regards,

...this kind of gives me the creeps - seeing black robed, red eyed demons gliding in at night ...K

Ah, Paul, this one's simple. It's so helicopter's can find it. I used to go there but then I switched over to Trent Reznor's church for a while and now of course I'm fully involved with goddess "Inaism". I like this one - think I'll stick with it (the goddess is nice and kind). Cool McCool, Mark

Maybe it's just a structural element used to hold up a former steeple, which collapsed from the weight of pigeon droppings as they climbed up on it to paint it.
