Maybe it has something to do with the way that the UV light is penetrating or reflecting off of that particular type of tree's leaves.

Great IR shot, like the color separation of sepia & the foliage. I share your puzzlement as to why the color of the tree on the right didn't appear like the rest. Not keen though on the inscription (Lower Right/Just My opinion) but otherwise a fantastic comp, cheers.
