Thanks Larry. I've just read about the new Canon S2. Sounds really good. How effective do you find the image stabilisation at the long end of the lens? Cheers, Ann.

Outstanding, Larry. The clouds in front of the mountains lend a different quality to the scene. Nicely done! Larry.

Larry this is a beautiful capture..love the purples and the calm water, titled perfectly..looks like you're hitting those thirds again or was it fifths...who can remember these things if only I could remember where the key is...those misty mountains are wonderful...good eye...well done...:):)Linda

Ann it's wonderful little camera 10x Zoom, Image Stabilization, takes 640x480 30fps video which is great with my grandchildren. Also has a flipout LCD which is real handy for odd angle shots. The S1 IS is about a year old,,,there's a new version the S2 IS which is a 5mp model with a few other improvements...suggest you go to DPreview.com to read the full review...hope this helps

Just realised what camera you used. Saw a guest with one today for the first time. How do you like it? Does it make good A4 prints? I'm looking for a good second camera, one I can take everywhere with me for those unexpected shots. Cheers, Ann.

Well titled, Larry. This photo has a very still, quiet atmosphere. I bet even the birds weren't stirring yet. Lovely. Cheers, Ann.

I love the mist and clouds, Larry. I was wondering what it might look like cropped to a 4:2 ratio, losing the crop from the bottom of the shot, thereby focussing interest on the land and sky? Kind regards, Chris
