About I opened my airport hotel window, and there it was - a heaven sent image for a photographer, already composed!

Just needed snapping and cropping. Wonderful.

If you saw the price of the holiday, you wouldn't be mad (with the cheap flight, it was cheaper than staying at home !)

Thanks very much, Brandy. Whether I'm on your friends are not, I'd still value your superb photography.

Regards

Colin

Hi Colin,

I love the colours and the reflections. You can go for miles looking for a shot like this, and then you open the windows and hey presto!

Great shot,

H

Thanks for making the effort to comment, Sally, I really appreciated it.

I found there were lots of cropping alternatives on this image. So many, in fact that I just left it as it was. Your blue-filled sky, in the corner, looks a bit too artificial to me, Sally, but I wouldn't have thought of it, and I value your alternative.

The Cote d'azur is aptly named, as everything is vividly coloured by the azure sea.

Incidentally, the broken dark blue border, above the airport, is the sea, as the runway goes right up to it!

Regards

Colin

What a beautiful reflection - just begging to be photo'd!
I think I would be tempted to put a little colour back into the sky, and crop off that little bit in the bottom left hand corner - I had a quick attempt - hope you don't mind!

Oh, Colin, this is absolutely splendid! As you know, I've tried a lot of reflective pictures like this, but without getting anything that has such a wide ranging view. I suppose my only slight reservation is in the amount of shadow at the bottom, but that's only a minor reservation.

Best wishes, Len

Thanks for you comment, Brad. It's great getting constructive advice.

I did crop it, originally, as you have suggested, but lost the end of the bank's name, which spoiled the play of words of my title. A bit of the side bulding was still visible with the original crop, and looked a bit sloppy, so I thought I'd leave it as it was.

Regards

Colin

Great color and reflection in this shot. I'd like to see it cropped so that the viewer doesn't see the right edge of the building. Well done.

Thanks for making the effort to comment, Sebastian.

This was a real opportunity for a photographer. How many times can you open a window, and just snap something you're immediately pleased with?

Having said that, the ability to see it as a "true" photo, is the real skill.

Molti ringraziamenti e riguardi.
