If you had a chance to read the comments I made to George Black you'll discover I'm not sure how this soft effect occurred...but I'll take it...thanks Bryan

Stunning, Larry. I always like photos like this, and have been experimenting with this technique myself, lately. Hope to post one soon. Well done.

Nice shot, Larry The flash gave it a glow that separates it from other butterfly shots.

An unusual effect, Larry. Well seen and captured. This one grows on you...the longer you look at it the better it looks!

Luck comes to those who are ready--and who recognize it when it happens. (That sounds like it should be done as a piece of needlepoint. Oh, well . . . )

Thanks George...I gotta fess up, confession is good for the soul or something, I'm not sure why this came out like this other than I was standing in the bush with lots of foliage around me and was using a fill flash that may have bounced of the leaves...I'll take it

Nice capture of the Monarch, Larry! It looks as though you're using a green filter, with the out of focus leaves. Dave.
