The B&W for this shot does make it look classic. Interesting the many different shapes of buildings. MAry

Very nice Rob - I agree with Hugo on the rail - if you cropped it to just above the sixth pillar on the rail (counting down from the light) I think that would be perfect as it adds to the shot but pulls the eye down too far off the subject IMHO. Outside of that - it's a beautiful city-scape shot! Well done. At least I think that's what he's referring to... :) Correct me if I'm wrong Hugo...

Classic indeed! I think its tough to have a cityscape appear timeless...to be in any season. Fantastic spot you found there, and I love that you have it square. Hooray for Melbourne, hooray for Robbie!

Very nice. I would have cropped the bottom to just below the reflections in the water.

Hi Rob, I somehow seem to pick out your cityscapes, as they're really good, and have a beautiful tonal range. I do like the compositon, but can't suppress the feeling that the bank / barrier on the left side closes the composition a bit too much. Also, I feel the skyline itself is a bit soft, but nothing that can't be fixed with a subtle unshapren mask.
Cheers,
Hugo
