Thanks for the comments Michael. I live in Victoria B.C. and recently drove up the Stewart-Cassiar highway up to Alaska. I would love to live in Alaska for a few years to really get a chance to see it all. What a fantastic place!

Another fellow Alaskan?!?
Great portfolio. I especially like this one because of the dramatic polarity in the tones.. great idea and great capture. I recently drove from Bellingham to Anchorage and spent much time in southern BC hiking around. I'm about to move down to Bellingham so if you know of any hidden paradise, please let me know. great photos!

I think your colors and tones really set a mood here. I am not sure that I would like more contrast on the flowers - it might change the whole flavor of this shot. It would be interesting to play with it. Good capture. Jan
