This is another cracker Ade...
Love that diagonal leading across the top of the trees into the keep.
David, The Photoshop actions were all found as free downloads on the web. I use a few of them to bring my images up a bit and find them very handy... and a lot quicker and more consistent than doing them manually!
If you aren't familiar with the PS actions they are similar to scripting in that you can build a set of steps that you regularly perform into a action that then runs as a single process, stopping where required to prompt for adjustment levels and or input. Welcome to UF too! Look forward to seeing some of your work!

You have gradualy developed a speciality "Slow shutter images.com" !
I have followed your progress and its getting better and better. I will encourage you to keep exploring and possiblly go on to market it as "slow speed images" or some sort.
I do not say this just to pat you on the back as I know you personally.
I genuinely mean it.

Cheers for the comment David and welcome to the site. Hope you enjoy your time here - I've made smoe great friends on here and learned an awful lot in the process.
Alastair's a friend and he emailed a few of us some actions, I think they are called Midnight Actions - not sure where they are from.
The things on top are a flag pole and weather vane so I left them in as part of the shot. I see your point about the tree as well - I did think about cropping it out - it'd put the castle on the third line too - but I kind of like the diagonal line from the treee through the castle to the top right.
here's a cropped version anyway, quiet like it :-)
Cheers
Ade

Very lovely colors and feel to this shot. This is my first comment at this site and I am not familiar with "Alastair's actions". What is that? To me the mood of the scene would be improved by removing the radio towers or whatever they are on the top of the castle. Just a suggestion, you might want to look at cropping more of the large fir tree on the left out. It is so much darker than anything else in the photo, I find it kind of jarring and conflicting with the peacefulness of the rest of the scene.
