About This is the last one in my Princess Series. I think now, I'm going to have to go out and maybe take some pictures of Kodiak Grizzly Bears or maybe a hockey game(minor league of course) maybe a rodeo....or something like that:)

Hi Chris,

I just purchased this lens on EBay (used) in excellent condition for about 320 bucks. I am looking forward to post pictures of my upcoming India trip soon.

Again, thanks for your advice.

Shridhar,
First off, I do love this lens. I love to use it for photojournalistic type shots and for taking pictures of children. You can get some fun angles with it. I will however say, that I like using it with color film better than black and white. It really takes great shots with color. In the black and white, the vignetting(the only critisicm I have for this lens) is more visable. It takes sharp photos at 4-about 11. 2.8 isn't razor sharp, but you get that problem with most consumer level lenses. I do wish it was cheaper. 400 is somewhat steep. So I bought it used on ebay for about 280(it was in great condition.) I think if you got it, you'd be happy:)

Dear Chris,

Keep up the good work! I want to take photos like this of my niece and nephew!!.

I had a question : How good is Canon 20 mm f/2.8 lens? Do you recommend it for general people photography? I mostly take snapshots of people indoors.

The reason it seems attractive to me is it's wide angle and large aperture (making indoor shooting possible). But heard negative opinions about this lens on the internet ( like lack of corner sharpness, fringing etc.)

I want to know about your opinion about this lens.

Hope to hear from you soon!

Thanks,

Shridhar
