We're in the middle of the fireworks season here in Japan, now. A mid-summer thing. I've never managed a successful photo of them, though. This is certainly one... and taken with film, too, so no instant "check." I am impressed. By the way, I got a macro lens and have been battling with this difficult genre ever since. It's slow going but I think I've made some progress. Your work is an inspiration.

That is a very cool setting and I've never seen such a setting on a Digital.

My camera has the capacity to do multiple exposures (most digis, do not).
I just set my camera to expose 2-9 (my choice) shots on 1 frame of film. Then I calculate the exposure accordingly.

Love the fireworks, I wanted to try, but also too lazy to take a tripod, but now very curious what is the "4 exposure", looks great.

It's not often being lazy pays off! Thanks, John.

And again you've created a superb effect that would have been lost if you'd used a tripod. This looks like two flowers with stalks...

Thanks, James. I was WAY too lazy to carry a tripod and do it the conventional way!
