thx Bea. it might not sound like much but he is the MOST difficult person to fotograph -- he is not a big fan of being in front of the camera... takes after his father I guess :)

absolutly I mean :)
I'm a little bit sensitive on this matter because I already "friendly" quarrelled with some friends for low rating. They assured me to rate me 7 but after their rate the final rating decrease!
Thanks to god the friendship is not linked to a number :)
Try with a photo and look at the result before and after the vote :)

ahhhhh... okay GG. I understand now. Oh no I do not read anything about a "2". I was only making a point about getting an low rating of 4.8 :)))
I think some people are nervous about giving a low rating. They think it will hurt the feelings of the other. Such is not the case for me. If you think it is a good foto, then give it a good rating. If you think it is a bad foto, then give it such a rating :))
For me, I only join this forum to improve and learn. I want to learn more about film and how to manage it and I want to learn more about creativity and vision. Both require the truth. without the truth, I can obtain knowledge about neither!!

what do you mean "have a I seen the comments and ratings field?" you are talking about the fields that I use to leave a comment and rating for a particular fotograph?

Do not take care too much of the rating , I saw the rating decreasing after a 7 given from a friend.
UF rating system is the best way to destroy a friendship :))))

Giuliano - first thank you for the honest rating. that is important to me! If I post a foto and it is a '2' then I expect to see a rating of 2 -- you know what I am saying?
yes, this was a 60mm objektiv. The fence is the 'clue' to the 60mm lens. it is actually quite near to him and it also exaggerates the falling of the broken fence.
"he has the mimic of a older man" that is why I title this foto "anachornism" :) little man looks out of place for his age.
