The pot is soft in a way..a good way. The fruit (cherry?) sort og jumps out. A pleasing still life.

It has been raining every day here for the past three months or so. Fortunately we have some time before the rains set in! A wonderful compo! That is either one big cherry or one small coffee pot! :)

it could be an old flemish moody still life if there weren't the unexpected combination of the pitcher with the tempting juicy cherry. the cherry represents your longing for the sun?

You did chase the "perfect" exposure, enough to show the details, I like the background which influence in the whole composition, and in its turn enhances the foreground subject, what I found is that the cherry does not belong to the combination elements, IMO another similarity elements would?ve been butter attraction, though pro work. Gorgeous light and color!..love the patina on the tea pot...i bought and ate cherries tonight!...has been gloomy grey today here,too,but not rain yet!...clarity is amazing and love the background...reminds me of rich oil painting,Yutaka...regards,gayle
