I tried it in Bw but it lost abit details in the sky.. might have been able to get it to work in bw though. I will take a look at it again in ps and see what can be done!

Thanks for your comment and idea! =)

I get the idea here.. very nice infact. I like the tighter crop and the extra light around my body does add to the effect of being trapped. I will see what happends if i redo this version. Thank you for your comment and for putting down this time for doing this version! =)

Cheers

Patrick I put a comment and attachment on, can't see it here, so sorry if it appears twice. I looked at the comments between you and Judi and I too wondered what effect a little more light around you would have. Had a go and I think this looks now as though you are trapped and trying to reach for the sunlight and escape. see what you think. That said I really like the image as it is, you have been having fun in this tower

Try doing the same composition but on a different window...you may be surprised with the result.

I dont know.. tons of light passing through my arm/body would look nice but then all details from outside is gone.. but then again.. some light around me would look better i think. Im not certain about the composition.. if its strong enough.. nor the pose from me. The window was so high up so i had huge problems getting there and taking selfportraits in those conditions wasnt easy.

For me.. its not a Wow.. when i see it.. but then again... one always get more picky with ones own images and being on it myself makes me even more picky.

Thank you for your comment and help my friend!

Patrick J

I like it. I think what you are looking for is some extra light around the person to highlight its presence more.

Am I right?
