That's all I needed: a Yank trying to explain sarcasm to a Brazilian living in Britain...

LOL!

I do miss all those hotel adverts on CNN International. After all, all I need when staying in a hotel during a business trip is to see images of... other hotels!

NOT!

Angelo, - where you go? Of course i kid about CNN (if you think international is bad you should see the US version - ahhhh)

Yeah, CNN international. I need to know when some lady's cat in Kansas gets stuck in a drainage pipe and the whole town comes out to save it. That's NEWS DUDE - THAT'S DRAMA !! BTW, interesting you mention cell phones cause I can't stand them. My Girlfriend bought a pair for emergencies and I don't even know the #. As Keith Richards says - Gives you brain cancer from the waves (and look at the shape he's in - rest my case) :~>

I can kind of understand you wanting BBC world, Mark. Has it's value.

But CNN International??? I think you jest!

In fact, I know you jest: one of the best things I got there was being totally away from any TV. Until, that is, Fluminense smacked 4 past Flamengo in the Carioca championships. I was glued to the Sunday night "Fantástico" program on Globo to see the news and the goals.

Oh, and sorry to disappoint you but cellular phone reception is nonexistent at the moment. :)))

Another nice one. I think Linda said this - has a really nice texture to it - that's a good way of putting it. You think there's a lot of big screens (plasma or LCD is it) around this area? I would need my BBC world, CNN international and a few good movie channels. With that and a small pool it'd be "ready to go". Lookin' Good! Seriously, very nice work Angelo, Mark

Majestosa natureza... e a típica simplicidade mineira. Você esteve de férias em Minas? Fez um belo registro desses locais. Maravilha... eu fiquei babando na imensidão dessas montanhas no início do ano. Vimos ao vivo como são emooooormes. :-)

Guilherme

Interesting mix of colours with the storm clouds almost at odds with the colours of the buildings etc.
