I have to agree Salvatore, your Macro and wildlife work is superb. This is an excellent shot, even to the catchlight in the eye of the little fellow. The composition makes it a stong shot indeed.
I'll bet getting this shot kept you on the "hop".

Wow! I've followed your work (being in my friends list and all) for a while now and I think you've found your calling. not that your other pictures weren't great, but your macro work is really excellent! The red in this shot really gives the frot a lot of contrast. The sharpness, particularly around the eye is awesome! I think a little more DOF would be good, but this is really great!

these people has always amazed me. their face is very expressible. they are like a song. i appears that most of the times are saying many things without langauge i know but communication is happening.
