Very nice work, Petal. Good imagination to place the sun in the frame and through the dandelion head. You got some nice effect there.
Congrats on the Ixus 50. I have an older Ixus 400 and I love the results i get with it.

Well if this is anything to go by the purchase was a success! Lovely shot Petal. The centre section is perhaps a bit too blown out but thats the nature of shooting contre-jour! One thing I do like are the diffraction effects around the seeds - lovely little rainbows everywhere!
Looking forward to a few more images from your new toy now!
