I remember being confused by McCarthy's bad mouthing of socialism. Half of the population of the UK was voting socialst at that time (more than half now!).
The limitations of the handycam are less apparent in this close-up. Thanks for your "great" commnet on my pickle stall photo. I was encouraged!

What wisdom and experience show in this face. I like the detail of the book-spine, suggesting (to me anyway) that each of us is a library if we would but take the time to read one another.
