About An apartment building in the heart of downtown. PS used to go from color to B / W and then tinkered with it till I liked the way it looked so it's suppose to look this way.

Excellent work of light and shadow which enhance this geometrical shape, smart use of angle, framing and well composed image. Saeed

Mark,

Very nice use of the building shapes and the angle from which you photographed. I like the high contrast in this case.

What has really caught my attention is the way you placed the thicker diagonal inverted "S" so that it travels corner to corner. Nice touch!

hi there, good choice to go B/W to focus on the form...because of the contrast level, which i like, there is an illusion involving the part of the building to the left (do you see it? looks like a cylinder)...cool composing,Mark..regards,gayle

I like what you have done with the extreme darks and lights here. They really help to accentuate the curvature of the building.

"It's supposed to look this way."

Bingo!
There are times when the shutter closing is just the first step in creation, with much more ahead.
This is just one of those times, Mark.
Nice.
(but don't think I'm gonna suck up and give you no steenkin' 7, dude!)

Mark,
Beautiful composition ... curving lines coming out of the dark shadows! Very cool. Great decision to convert this image to B&W ... I think you made a real good choice in doing so.
For my taste, the highlights in the middle foreground are just a little too hot and bleached out.
Overall, a very appealing shot.
Mark
