In Yosemite National Park. The good news is that the first 2 days were in the park the weather was beautiful and unusually warm. The bad news is that the warm weather caused a quick snow melt. With the arrival of a warm storm (a storm more typical in the winter) that carried a lot of rain, the result was flooding on the valley floor. We were awakened by a ranger telling us that the entire park was under mandatory evacuation because of the flooding. As we drove out there was water over the road (I'll post pics soon). Where we had ridden our bikes the evening before, there was 2-3 feet of water. Our stay was cut short by 3 days.
