Thanks Gy,

Bikes and benches are cityscape classics. SO the idea is to look at them with another vision...

Dear Elly Thanks for your comment.

I really appreciate this picture creates such a discussion. As half abstract half reality each of us can add something on it ; just as if it belongs to everybody... and I like this idea.

Kind regards

Boubékeur

Merci Drilan.

En effet, le fait que la frontičre entre le visible et le suggeré soit si ténue montre qu'entre les principes masculin et féminin le dialogue dépasse le malentendu et englobe la dualité, dans un jeu plus que millénaire...

A bientôt

(When curves ans squares meet...) En effet! belle composition et beau cadrage qui nous confond; on ne sait plus si la forme courbe est faite de pavés ou de lattes.
Merci, drilan

Thanks for your comment P.J.

Conversion to B&W is sometimes difficult. But for most of my photo are viewed with B&W eyes...

My eyes are following the line and it is a neverending poem to follow this border...

I agree curves and squares are part of life.
I like the use of DOF focusing only on curves and not giving too much presence to square pavements (they are already present)

Like the choice of B&W. and about Response Photos magazine I am sure they will consider this as a photoGRAPHY.

Bye

Wayne

Thanks Lalage for your comments.

It is a picture (and not a photography : a word only when I "use film" (!!!) kidding).
I made it for a contest in France : a magazine called Réponse Photo and probably one of the best source of inspiration as they really feel the photography like I do. No matter it is a film or a digital : the most important is the feeling you convey and community exchange you can share.

Take Care

Dear Fabrizio,

Thank you for your kind comments.
I choose to open at around f/3.5 to have this small DOF area as I explained to Galal.

Thank your for supporting photograhers who love to play with textures and abstract realities.

Kind Regards,

Boubékeur

Beautiful, geometries and textures. I wish I could see this one with a deeper DOF also.

Dear Galal,

Thank you for your kind comment. Playing on DOF was necessary here to enhance the foreground and to docus on the thin borderline between stone squares and wooden curves.

Kind regards,

Boubékeur
