The river might be so dark because I used a polarizer; might also be the angle of the sun. Thanks for commenting, Angelo. -- Naomi

Thanks. This was our first trip to Yosemite and we were in awe! We saw the main sights in the valley but before we could do any hikes, the valley was under mandatory evacuation and we had to leave. Oh well, guess we will just have to go back sometime. Thanks for commenting. -- Naomi
