Urs here's what I had in mind...tighter contrast and tighter cropping..I removed his shoe and made her the 100% main focal point with the reflections in the foreground as part of the interest.

Thank you very much for your comment! Looking at your pictures gives me the definite feeling I have to learn a lot.
Digital photography is completely new to me and also the woring on the pictures.
I tried to follow your advice, using The Gimp software and I'm so free to send you the result.

I think this is a nice moment captured...would love to see it cropped tighter and in black and white, I think it would exude a different feeling of drama.
