As I looked through your portfolio, this one really stood out to me.
First of all, that dog is very funny looking (no offence to you or him) and that expression on his face is just a gem in itself. 
Second, I love the crop, you've chosen a great composition to frame him in.
and third, you've done a great job with the overall look of the image, the black and white is great, and the level of lighting is just right.
