Fangs for the memories!! I like both the original and cropped, The original has more of a card like quality to it and doesn't do it much harm! Fantastic moment!

I think he was looking at me arwa. He had been concentrating on digging out the grub, and when he got it and pulled his head back out of the hole, he looked over at me because he was surprised to see that big piece of glass staring at him and something behind it making snapping noises. :)

Thanks for the suggestion arwa. I wasn't really happy with the shot, but hate to crop things down because you loose all those pixels. (The original post is just a full-width crop to a 4x5 aspect ratio, which is about the only cropping I ever do.) In this case, you're right that the extra pixels don't add a whole lot, and I like the tighter crop, which isn't quite the full width of the original frame in order to get him a bit more centered.

You could crop some of the blurred grass from the bottom or the top but that?s just personal choice! Was he looking at you or just your direction?
