About	I cant remember how many times I turned around this pagoda, maybe 20 times.. I spent there 5 hours, it's like a dreamland when it's night, amazing gold colors, fantastic ! So mystic ! My sprit was above the clouds.. Increadible monument & environment ! The main Stupa, more than 100 meters high, was built its present shape only in 1774. The Stupa, and many other buildings of the temple complex, are decorated with myriads of gems and gold. Thousands of pilgrims visit the site every day.

For a long time I have this desire in my mind to see this Pagoda, but I have never been to that distant from here. I like this pagoda, I know that it can be seen from anywhere in Yangoon with all the gold melting style. Thank you for posting this and post a pic from Pegu of the recling Budhdha if you visit there.
