thanks carlos, yeah you do the same as i do,
the only difference is that i never really thought about the composition for positioning of images, the one rail photo i have of my friend at beaver creek the rider is coming towards cam and makes the shot hard to paste in, i had to do some rotation and scewing to get the board and rail at the right angle... same with the clone tool, i use that very much to get rid of unwanted items and shadows... ive found cutting out only a part of the image and using a strong reference point and lowering the opacity on the top layer helps with alignment of the rider, then push opacity back up and erase and clone away, i havent used a tripod on these sequences as of yet, but its almost harder to pan a tripod at that speed and keep a good sequence composition. I did however just purchase a monopod with the pistol grip head and it will make it easier to use for this kind of shooting, by far my fav item in my bag now.

First of all, thanks for the comment. I like your work too. Well Philip, I do take pictures in JPEG high and use the burst through the entire sequence. I didn?t use a tripod, but the best would use one, that way you will do it perfect and photoshop will be easier. I try to leave the aperture the closer a can so the focus stay good in all the photo (this one I use F 13/ shutter 1/500 ISO 400). The photoshop do paste on the first photo and the use the eraser tool to get all the boards perfect, sometimes I use the clone stamp or the healing brush. (sometimes is better to take a image more in the middle so that way there is not too much difference between the first and the last one) I hope that answer your question. Cheers.

again wonderful sequence... great angle with the lift in the background and amazing colors..
i got to ask just cause i do the same thing with the 20D on snowboarding shots.
you shoot JPEG high qual and burst through the entire sequence, then take all images into photoshop and place sequence in succesion till they match up??? or do you have an easier way of doing these?
great work, glad to see someone else out there on usefilm doing similar art,

Well Manu, I did a lot of photo shop on the picture. Since I didn?t have a tripo a have to cut the images and them correct everything. I did paste on the first photo and the use the eraser tool to get all the boards perfect. Takes a long time to do all, but ends up fine. Cheers.
