Hi Laurie,
Nice one indeed. Beautiful bird captured in its own natural surroundings.
I tried to sharpen the crane a bit and selectively blur the background.
I kind of like it. I wonder what you would think.

Thanks Linda! As soon as I saw him I thought, "this is a Linda shot"! He stayed just long enough for me to get a couple of shots in and luckily this came out nicely. I'm really glad you liked it. :)

Oh Laurie so sweet, thank you, I was so excited to see the thumbnail because it was one of your birds, and then for me....kisses to you my friend...and what a beauty this is too.. I love how you composed this..standing in the tall patches of grass makes this so beautiful and adds much more interest..wonderful collection of colors, and such a graceful pose, excellent capture..just lovely...thank you! beautifully presented as usual....hugs...Linda
