Lovely photo .. sharp on the head of the insect, and the wings which are little blurry, make for an excellent background, together with the red of the flowers .. looking at the little claws on the legs of the insect, which he uses to clamp on to the leaves .. well photographed !

I don't think they mind being stalked by you. They've all heard what wonderful macros you take of them and they all want you to photograph them. I think Sigma should give you a cut on their profits - you're going to be selling alot of their lens based on your images on Usefilm. Great DOF a perfect 7+!

This full size I accidentally posted the wrong lens. It is a Sigma 28-80 mm macro zoom. The image stabilizer on the Canon works well and is a perfect walking around lens from wide angle to moderate telephoto. Thanks for your comment Peter.

Fine macro Salvatore! Its not easy to get close to these insects.Well done . Was this photo cropped? If not......how did you get this magnification? I'am interested in buying this efs lens for a walkaroundlens and i would like an honest opinion. Are you happy with the sharpness and does the stabilysator(is) do the job?
