Thanks Mary - okay jump in the same boat as Margaret Sturgess, Evelyn, and a few others that "see" things in photos that others don't. I am really very, very pleased with the macros I have been getting with my little old (6-7 years) Cybershot (1.3 mg). Haven't had any luck with the newer Cybershot our son, Rob, let me borrow - and has only tried his Sigma for a shot or two while he was home. He left that with me to learn how to use it before investing in a different camera for me.

Thanks for the comment Petal. As I told Lisa, I was really unsure about uploading this one. Just got brave, said what the heck, and did it! Jan

Thanks again Lisa, was a little hesitant about uploading this one. I liked it for the detailed pollen areas (Like that Stargazer). It just fascinates me to have the camera reveal just see how intricately made by nature the flowers are and how much we miss with the naked eye. Thank you again for liking my floral macros - even tho I long to take landscapes and waterscapes. Jan

Love the reds and yellow against the green. DOF really sets this hibiscus to the foreground. You have the most amazing macros of flowers I have seen. This is one of my favs.
