About I took this one at 5:18 in the morning...couldn't sleep which is rare but I can't wait to get a real close shot of this...I like the way it is waning though...Let me know..may seem a bit contrived..but so be it! :)

Looks great. I have the same lens and have gotten a few shots like this as well, all taken hand held.

Wow, so clear! Amazing shot! I love the composition and the clarity. One of the best moon shots I've seen! That 20D must be treating you pretty nicely :)

Oh, I wish I had that problem--it being rare to be awake at all hours. I love the Moon especially when it is not full. I need my telescope to get any details. Nice composition.

I've seen quite a few moon shots on here, but this has to be one of my favorites. The position of the moon and it's shape is excellent. I also like how you can see the craters to the right of the image. Excellent!

Very nice shot!! Great in B&W!! Love the crop and the fact that it isn't 'just' a round ball hanging in the sky... the right side is the interesting one... that's where the detail is, otherwise it would've been a flat pizza pie... well captured!!

Excellent capture Rob. I love the fact that it's not completely round. It really adds to the overall composition. Nice details on the moon as well!
