Yes Steve, I did replace the sky as it was totally white. As you said I should have used a gradient but I just filled it. Thanks for your commments they are much appreciated. Don.

Hi Don,
Nice capture - I really love these old german towns - reminds be of heidelberg. one minor point - the sky appears to be a little *too* blue (in comparison with the very white sky reflection on the cobbles) - did you replace the sky?
Not a criticism - as if you did - you done a good PS job - though i might have chosen a lighter gradient.
Like I said - i love these buildings :) The detail on the wooden framing is great.
Best regards
Steve

Lots of activity in this shot, Don. I love the wet cobblestone. I understand why so many advertisers use wet pavement in their scenes. It just adds such warmth to the shot.

I kept looking at this picture, then I realized one of the things that jumps out to me: not much landscaping! ANd of course all the bricks on the road (not sure what to call them)
You're on a nice sightseeing trip Don. And thanks for the bit of history also.
Love the style of these buildings, and this image shows them so well.
Have a nice day, Lori :)

Excellent composition, Don. I don't think I would want to paint the trim on these buildings :-) I like the light and detail from the wet brick street. Well done!, Larry
