Ha ha... very cute chipmunk... looks like he was spying to see what you're doing :0) Good catch my friend, in the correct time, Khaled.

Marvelous capture of the squirrel. Was he playing hide & seek? Cheers Alison.

The chipmunk, though small, is a stark contrast to the lifeless and cold rocks; the green background has a cooling effect too in the photo. And I must also mention that your photos are alway very very informative!!

....not in the thumbnail, but the enlarged photo as as sweet as they come. Thanks for the detailed about, I'm afraid that for me it's academic. Would you be horrified to hear that when I was in Kurdistan (winter 1966-7) we on the one hand had squirrel as a pet, on the other hand, when food was short, we hunted squirrels (not our pet, it was accidentally devoured by a cat we also had) and cooked and ate them? Thank you for your very kind words about my "In Monet's garden 1, 2 and 3.) I think I sent you 4 of Rachel's stories. Did you get all of them? Best regards, Rafi

OH Alison how absolutely adorable..I love chipmunks too and I never get to see them anymore...Wish somebody would sneak them over in their luggage, hehehehe...No seriously I don't know why we don't have them here, maybe they only live in the colder climates, because I never saw them in Florida either....thank you for a look and an excellent capture, so perfectly focused too. I'm a rock lover too so I enjoyed that as well, and how nice of you to give us all of that information and btw, you write well....thanks again....:):)Linda
