Dear Cheri, many thank for your very kind feedback. I'm not very experienced with the Sony 8meg because I'm working with SLR's. I usually work with my macro lense Sigma 150mm F/2.8 (which has a 1:1 macro capability) for such pictures. In addition to this macro lens I use sometimes a extension tube to boost a little bit the macro capability. I heard about the great possibility of dipters but until now I never used such lens... but I saw incredible results.
Regarding toying ... it's always a good start to play a little bit around with this lens and I can tell you it makes fun.
Enjoy it and have a great day.
Regards, Gerry

hi Gerhard Really a beautifull composition, the DOF creates the perfect background for the Dandelions in the foreground. Ivan

Excellent composition, feels like you are lying down on your side - to get the lovely diagonals, the dandelions looks good at that angle, but the background is superb the cross between grass and sky in line the the flower heads. the nice tones and light enhance the image even more Margaret

Wow amazing work Gerry. Do you have any tips for photographing such a small flower? I have been looking into some Diopters and extension tubes but I don't see any listed that you used. What do you recommend? For digital I have a Sony 8meg 200 zoom lens camera. Otherwise I do have a 300mm Macro lens that I am starting to toy with. Any tips would be greatly appreciated! Thanks ~Cheri
