They grow in my lawn. Taken at ground level with zoom lens at 150mm and macro setting, on mini tripod, using delayed action to prevent shake.The lighting was subdued cloudy sun, with no wind.I used on camera flash to get the fuzzy bits to stand out and darken the background.Exposure was under by one stop and over saturated by +1.
Dandelions are a nuisance BUT (grudgingly) I have to acknowledge their beauty. When I was a child, we used to refer to the 'fluffy bits' as 'angels' because of the way they floated through the air. Great macro, Ian - and thanks for the useful comments you made on my postings recently.
a nice macro, have you tried to take a picture of dandelion the time just after a milisecond of your blow ? just an idea.. need a good preperation :)) thx for your lovely comment by the way ! :))
