hi Q - yes, you take the ferry to hornby from Buckley Bay which is about 20 mins. south of Courtenay or 50 mins. north of nanaimo. Actually, you catch a ferry from buckley bay to denman island & then drive across denman to catch the ferry over to hornby. It's a bit of a journey to get here but well worth the effort. Check out 'tim schumm's' portfolio on usefilm - he has a whole portfolio of amazing shots of hornby. Do you live in this area as well or were you just visiting? - jennifer
