About Hi Arwa hope your okay :)
This little parasitic wasp is approx 1mm in length. I photographed it with a WILD Photomakroscope and a Canon Eos 1Ds. The interesting thing I wanted to show you is the hi tech adapter I used to link the Makroskop with the EOS 1Ds (see attachment). For the rest of you, see my earlier image http://www.usefilm.com/image/707682.html and scroll down to the comments at the bottom re a low tech adapter that does the same job :)
Well both are quite low tech but one costs a few dollars and the other around 5 cents (the rubber band that is )

Hi Arwa
No teaching isnt my day job.
My day job is photographer and video producer.
Dont have time to teach, and I'm probably getting too old and grumpy to put up with all those dumb students :)

Thanks Laurie.
It actually took over 3 hours to get 1/2 a dozen good shots of this beast.
Keeping these guys in focus at such a high magnification was almost impossible.
Had to move the petrie dish with my left hand and focus with my right, while firing the shutter with my foot!!
I was stuffed afterwards, felt like Id been for a long run.
