Bertram, at long last I have my own film scanner. I had to "push" develop my last 35mm cassette from Nezu Shrine, and only Kodak offer this service, so I had to forego the Fuji scan-to-disk. The "Stall Triptych" represents my first attempts at scanning with the Epson F-3200. I got it really for MF scanning (Voyageur and Kiev/Arax 120 negatives) but it seems fine for 35mm too.

these new shots are super Roger, very colorful. this one I love the "tranparency" of the baloons, a tribute to the lens (and the photographer ! )

I'm grateful you continue to comment after my unenthusiastic comment on your beautiful sunset picture... I've been going through a very difficult time recently, and I think I let a knee-jerk reaction take over. Too late to cancel once I'd sent it off... Glad you like the Nezu Azaleas. I've kept the REALLY good ones until this evening. And yes, flowers growing along the roadside remain unpicked, vegetables within reach over a low fence remain unstolen. Balloons remain unpopped. Astonishing. (The driving manners are atrocious, though.)

I wonder how long they last with people passing by probably tempted to pop them. Maybe Japanese people are more concious of respecting others' property than in some cities here. Nice capture. Mary
