Excellent photograph of one person not being intimidated by a bunch of circus clowns holding up their signs of hate. Surprising to see young people with that mind set.

I remember when that happened... I wish and hope for the worst on that group of halfwits. Apparently what they do is go piss off a bunch of people, start a fight and then sue for the injuries. Pretty repectable, huh.

this is such a beautifully strong picture. I don't agree with the actions, but I agree, it needs to be seen. Thank you for your kind words. The girl in the photos is me:). And yes, Im "an aspiring photographer" of 16. Keep up the lovely work.

God doesn't hate anybody, and he doesn't talk like that either... Anyway, excellent shot! Good capture.
I wonder what those people are accomplishing by adding more hate.
There is a group around here against abortion that stands in town and holds up big signs of cut up bloody babys. I don't know whats wrong with them.

Hatred of any kind is difficult to understand for those of us with open minds. These people seem to be confused as to the target of their hatred. Is it homosexuals or America that they despise???? Canada seems to be more tolerant, maybe ....... It's a very emotional shot Reza, I might have tried for the journalistic impact of B+W for this one.

It was very difficult to stand peacefully as they yelled out such things as "feces eaters etc." It amazes me that hatred like this can run so fluently through some people. Thanks for your comments.

I think that it is very brave of him to stand there confronted by such hatred as it is brave of you to be there to capture the momment.
We must never forget that a minority of people who hate so much is very powerful and must be acknowledged immediately before it sneaks into the culture we live in. We must always be on our guards...
Nice shot and thanks for sharing.

It is unfortunate that some people have nothing better to do than proclaim they are better than another group. I wonder what makes them think they speak for God. Now, that's arrogance. This is a great politcal statement picture. Good for your group for standing up to the picketers. Mary -

Hard to imagine that the people in the background with all the signs are the "future of America". I admire your friend for his stand that he took. What's with the flag of our nation touching the ground? Thank God for 9/11? This is America - Love it or LEAVE it! Back to the photo - very Powerful work of journalism.
