Wonderfull lineplay, one minor point to me is the focus...i think i want to see the eye effective primare sharp(the background). It might have been perfect to me if you used a high numbered diafragma or otherwise focused on the background. Still i rate it 7+ but as i otherwise imagened it to be a favorit. Well done & thank you for your generous comment on my photo!

Great silhouetted shot of the pigeons Alison... Have you tried catching one and tying a note to its leg....? I mean the ad on the tree didn't work so maybe....? ;-) I like the way you've caught the birds in sharp contrast to the bright blurred background. I also like how one of the birds is looking at you too... Very well taken and timed...

Excellent composition. I'm glad you did not crop out the black framing. It adds drama to the photo and the sillhueted turtles stand out well on the bright backgound. Thank you for your generous comment on my "Figure 5." best regards, Rafi
