Paul that is a hard question to answer "what would I do differently" I have made VERY few street fotographs and even fewer good ones :) but I do enjoy viewing good street fotographie very much. For me I always find a foto to be more interesting if it has strong contrast of moods or moments... or even good humor is quite striking. There is always that element in good street fotographie that makes you scratch your head and say "wow, what an observation!". Hi Bryan, thanks for your long comment! Well, you're right that this picture has nothing really special, I just wanted to do a shot in the underground, and I liked how it turned out, capturing a bit of the atmosphere of a London underground train. What would you have done to get a picture that is more appealing, framed differently? Focused more onto one of the faces?
well Paul the thumbnail says crique only so I will try my best :) the fotograph, IMO, has potential but as it stands now there is nothing of visual interest. nothing to really pull the viewer in. because of this, it appears a bit static and doesn't really allow me to engage with the foto. You know what I'm saying? Also I think the foto overall would be better with a little more contrast. as always these are just opinions. enjoy the day or night
