About I believe this is a wall in the same Piazza - who's name I can't remember - where the Pantheon sits. Since I grew up in a city where everything that's older than 50 years was torn down to make way for "mini malls" I've always appreciated the strong character of very old walls, windows, buildings, etc that, like a great older face on a man or woman, show their strong individuality and what they've lived through. I have hundreds of shots like these from all over but since I'm just putting up scanned prints right now this is one of the few I have printed off of a slide. I wouldn't paint this wall if it was mine, I like it better like this. I like the pigeon there also. Scanned off of a 11 x 14 inch print (which forced a small recrop) on the Epson Flatbed. Extra cropping done with PS.

As it says there it is a hotel sign `cos Albergo means Hotel in Italian lang. I like the texture of natural wall building, and the pigeon part of the scene, Well spotted and shote, regards.Saeed

This pic has a cool title. You get a good rating for the title alone. ^_^

I suppose it's nice to look at if you are visiting for a few days. I'm sure all the pigeon dirt would get to you if it was there every time you looked out of your window.

Nice spot and a good capture, with nice geometric shapes and textures. This enhances the lettering and the pigeon.
