G'Day Bea the entire series is an artistic construct... which refers to actual events as a satrt point for the narrative

OK Bea... This subset of "The Site Incident Series" images will all be called "Belangalo Echo" The Site Incident Series is around the notion of the rape murderer stalking the prey planning the act finding the site for it to take place... Belangalo Echo comes from the Belangalo State Forest which is where the ?Backpacker Murderer? Ivan Milat probably one of Australia's worst serial killers buried his victims... This landscape that will comprise the subset.. are nowhere near the Belangalo State Forest but when I stopped the car on the way home and made a series of images looking at the landscape as a site for clues to the locations of the bodies, the landscape took on the mantle of the impassive observer to hideous acts ..the murmur of the bugs resumed once the human disturbance had subsided... the idea is to portray that sullen landscape as malevolent brooding place where on the surface all is fine but not far further on fear and terror exist?I look forward to your responses as the work progresses?

Rog:

This is a compositional beauty. Could well be the best of your landscapes that I have seen. Well done.
