Wonderful portrait! Like Jan, I often focus too much on the face and your photo reminds me to take a step back and get a "bigger" picture. Thanks for that!

David, thank you so much for your wonderful and respected comments!!! Yeah...Jan and I know each other quite well...hmmmmm sister in law! Jan is my mentor...he he he, no really I have learned alot from Jan...she's an awesome photographer ...and great at PS...which I'm still struggling with.. I was standing off in the distance using my 300 lens (kind of a back seat driver, he he)and trying to stay out of her way...I couldn't just stand there and be idle...photo moment!!! thank you again!

So adorable! Love her face, feels like she's frustrated and trying to think of a way "around" something. :) She is soooooooo cute! Love the clothes, the background and those feet!

really really cute! I love those feet! :)
I had no idea you and Jan know each other and took photos together.
Excelent shot, I really like that you got a wider angle to include her feet and gave her a little environment to rent in. Sure closer portraits tend to become stronger and more personal, but showing some of the surounding can add so much more atmosphere to a shot and give you more "story".
Tones are very good. I think better than the other B&W photos you uploaded.
The only thing I like better about Jan's photos is that she got down on the girl's eye level which makes me feel more connected.

Bunnie, this is darling! Great mood created by the pose and b/w tones. I love the highlights in her long hair, and the toes, the toes are too cute! Excellent!

Bunnie..I don't even know where to start!! First off, it's totally different... and my first thought was, wow...you picked up where I dropped the ball! I'm so overly focused on that face, that I'm constantly missing the big picture, which in this case, steels the show...the toes!!!
Your tones are perfect, the shot is adorable, frame it...and let me crawl back under my rock!!
LOVE IT!! Jan
