For me the subject of photo is the ray on bottom and the color and the smoothness of the clouds, dark clouds too, on top.

Nice capture of the breaking lightining. Too bad you couldn't have used a longer lens, or perhaps a large scan and crop could bring you closer to the action of the scene.
