About Another shot from this afternoon?s (Saturday, 16th April), U.K. Usefilm meet?

The first spot Den and Margaret took us to was some woodland where they had often seen pheasants scratching around for food. Ken Krishnan, (never having seen such a bird before), decided to try and train one to walk across the top of a gate in order to win some nuts. At last, Ken succeeded in getting the bird to stride across the top rail of the gate, and wouldn?t you know?

?his battery failed!

A.I.Y.B.T.Y.B.A.!! *

Best regards, Chris

* And if you believe that?

is that a pheasant doing a goose step?

just trying to work out whether this has been edited or is real.... if it edited you've got the edges on the pheasant "perfect" (as John Virgo would say)

Top day on saturday - gets back on Sunday to a lovely storm cloud and rain till now really - blue sky for once.

Cheers and see you soon

Ade

Hi Chris, this is excellent. Love the cockyness of the pheasant (no pun intended) in combination by Ken's somewhat bewildered look. (maybe that's just my imagination playing tricks on me). Very funny shot, but also a very good one!

Cheers,

Hugo

Nebraska, as you may or may not know, is a hunters paradise with pheasants in abundance. However, I have never seen one look so cooool, either on or off a rail. I can only conclude that there is some amount of chicanery here. Nice shot of Ken anyway :-) Larry
