Thank you Tiffany - this is another bush that is really pretty when in full bloom - but the individual blossoms are pretty by themselves.

Yes it is an oleander - just couldn't resist the dramatic effect of this flower against the dark foliage. It was tucked into a corner by our fountain. Wish I had centered better - but again - there are a lot of blooms all year round so I can practice.

I like this one a lot, Janice. I find the composition pleasing and the details and colors in the flower excellent. The little striped center makes it look like it must taste and smell of peppermint. Is this a variety of oleander?
