Fantastic colors, lighting, and composition, I didn't notice any clarity problem, maybe little soft but I think it works perfectly for the scene!

Beautiful. Wish I was there! Can't help but think of a simpler time. Although I'm sure they had their own hardships. Great shot.

Thanks so much Rebecca, you know how I love these old structures. I'll assume you did not take more close-ups out of respect for the owners of the property. I do not trespass either. This image is still very good despite the problems you may have had. I really like the placement of the various elements within the frame. I am sure there is some artsy name for what you have done, but my degree is in Anthropology. What do I know????? Well I know I like it. It just feels right. And one thing the upload problems didn't change is the quality of the colours. Have a good weekend my friend.

I am working my way through comments from the older to the newer. I am glad you shared this closer view. Do you have any idea of the history of this place? Was it at one time some ones home or is it a hunters cabin or some such thing? When camping in the Blue Ridge some hiking trails lead to old home sites not much larger than this one. Thanks for sharing. Del.

A lovely rustic scene. I like one this more than the first post of the cabin. Love the perspective here with the shadows falling across the cabin. The flowers along the stream in the foreground adds much to the photo.

Great shot Rebecca..looks like the kind of place that get a lot of snow in the winter. Could you get anymore detail out of the darker area of the cabin?
Cheers honey and as usual thanks for the comments on Flight (one of my personal favs although not everyones judging by the low views)
