Hi Boguslaw, I hope you can visit Guatemala some day. It's a wonderful country with an interesting mix of ancient civilizations, colonial past and modern world. Antigua is only 1 hour from the capital, but it takes the whole day to visit. If you are really serious about going there, you also should make plans to travel to Tikal and Atitlan, just to mention another two landmarks of this fascinating country. Take care. Yamil
Hi Alison, Thanks for your comments. That day I woke up around 4.30 am, jump into a taxi around 5am and got to Antigua at 6.30 am. I took this picture around 7:00 am. I wanted to be there early to avoid the multitude and get pictures of the monumental architecture of this impressive colonial city.
